ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Women empowerment program is a program we created solemnly to provide free vocational training to women who wishes to learn a skill or more.This is the second and the last edition for the year 2023.
For this year, we are offering just 6 Programs.
Note: All Applicants are required to pay a registration fee of ₦1,150 only per program, and the maximum number of participants per program is 25.Below are detailed information about each programs.
EP1 (Baking and decorating Class)
Course Outline/class schedule:
Day 1
Introductory to baking, tools and Equipments.
Day 2
How to know cake pan sizes, how to take measurements with a scale and a measuring cup, greasing pans,and trays, understanding cake layers.
Day 3.
Introduction to buttercream
How to make regular buttercream and white Buttercream.
Task
Go and purchase a piping bag and at least 1 piping nozzle.(preferably 1m nozzle)
Day 4.
How to make crusty and tasty Meatpie and Chicken pie
Day5.
How to make crunchy Chinchin, and Puffpuff
Day 6.
Task
Make your Chinchin and send in a picture of it.
Day 7

All participants are required to send a picture of at least 2 piping Techniques taught in class.

How to bake Vanilla Cake

How to customise your cake toppers

How to crumbs coat and decorate a cake with buttercream
Final Project
All participants are advised to cover a dummy and present after class or Preferably a Cake.

Introductory to the Apps to be used in class, how to install new fonts in Pixellab.
Day 4
Understanding images sizes for different purposes and social media platforms

Task
Download stock image with watermark and background, remove the background and watermark. Send in as document on the WhatsApp group
Take home project
One a white background Canva of 1080*1080
Insert the image of your favourite food, type the name use a font if your choice, black colour , Also apply Underline and bold to the font.
